The government attached great importance to this file and placed it ahead of
its agenda
Cairo – Eco : Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, met
with the World Bank delegation concerned with the Facilitation of Business
Report. The meeting was attended by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of
International Cooperation ...
During the meeting, the
bank officials briefed the Prime Minister on the results of studies and
recommendations related to the Doing Business report issued by the World Bank,
the areas in which Egypt has made progress through the structural reform
programs being implemented, and other areas that must be worked on during the
coming period, in order to improve the situation Egypt on the ease of doing
business index.
For his part, the Prime
Minister praised the efforts made by the World Bank team, by working on
collecting data from different sectors, and making recommendations related to
areas that should be improved, stressing that the Egyptian government attaches
great importance to this file, and places it at an advanced level on Its agenda.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly
also affirmed that the concerned ministries are working on an action plan to
implement the required reforms, and in a short period of time, in order to
bring about the required change that is in line with the structural reform
plans adopted by the government, to complement the success achieved by the
economic reform program in its financial and monetary aspects.
