The Information Technology Institute (ITI), affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is a partner in the event. Insomnia Egypt Gaming Festival will provide an opportunity for 20 teams of gaming developers participating in Run Double Jump— an indie gaming gathering, organized by ITI in Smart Village, in August— to exhibit their products for free at the Festival.
Insomnia Egypt will feature three days of e-sports tournaments with cash prizes, areas to play the latest games available to the market, a retro zone featuring the classic games and consoles, virtual reality, mobile gaming, an exhibition, a main stage broadcasting tournament final and much more.
