President El-Sisi affirmed that Egypt has developed an integrated strategic plan for the management and development of water resources until 2037, with an initial estimated cost of 50 billion dollars, in order to meet the great and complex challenges in this field, as Egypt is the driest country in the world with the lowest rate of precipitation among other countries. , which leads to almost exclusively dependence on the waters of the Nile River.


The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic explained that the Fourth Cairo Water Week, is held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and organized by the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation under the title “Water, Population and Global Changes, Challenges and Opportunities” from 24-28 October, with the participation of a group of ministers and senior Officials in the field of water and related sectors from different countries of the world, in addition to scientists, experts, international organizations, civil society organizations and a number of international personalities.
