Caledoscopy Conference 2017", organized by the International
Telecommunication Union (ITU), will be held in Nanjing, China, and will last
until November 29, and is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information
Technology of China ...
hosted by the Nanjing University of Post and
Telecommunications, which aims to identify new developments in information
technology Communications and, in particular, areas that require international
standards to support the development of successful products and services.
Calledoscop 2017 also calls for the submission of original academic papers that
provide technology, business and policy aspects of data management and
analysis, It encouraged the development of applications and services based on
data technologies with a view to the advancement of society.
The conference will be
held under the theme: "Challenges for a Data-Driven Society" and
within the framework of the Calidoscope events, an initiative of the Federation
aimed at strengthening collaboration with academic bodies and research
institutions.
Participation is open to
ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to
any person from a Member State of the Union wishing to contribute to the work,
including also members of international, regional and national organizations.
It is worth mentioning
that the International Telecommunication Union is one of the most important
United Nations agencies specializing in information and communication
technology, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and consists of the
membership of 191 countries and more than 700 members and partners from
different sectors. The ITU's role is to create the environment for sustainable
growth and development in the world's ICT, and to organize global events in
telecommunications such as the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS)
and the Africa Telecom Forum (ITU) .
