Forever Is Now 06 Brings Female Artists to Egypt’s Ancient Landscape for a New Dialogue Between Contemporary Art and Heritage
CAIRO | EGYPT - Eco - Nariman Yanny : Art D’Égypte announces the sixth edition of Forever Is Now, its landmark international contemporary art exhibition at the Pyramids of Giza, taking place from November 4 to November 28, 2026...
Titled Forever Is Now 06, this year’s edition brings together leading female artists from France, the United States, China, Britain and Jamaica, and Egypt, creating a new cross-cultural dialogue between contemporary artistic practice and one of the world’s most iconic ancient landscapes.
Organized by Art D’Égypte, the exhibition continues the platform’s mission to position Egypt as a global destination for contemporary art, cultural exchange, and heritage-inspired innovation.
Contemporary Art Meets the Pyramids of Giza
Set against the backdrop of the approximately 4,500-year-old Giza Pyramids, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Forever Is Now 06 invites artists to engage directly with the enduring legacy of ancient Egypt.
Through monumental, site-specific installations and contemporary artworks, participating artists explore the relationship between humanity, architecture, nature, space, and cultural memory.
The Pyramids of Giza serve not simply as a historic backdrop, but as an active part of the exhibition’s artistic dialogue. Their extraordinary geometric precision, celestial orientation, architectural scale, and enduring symbolism provide a starting point for artists to reconsider how ancient systems of knowledge continue to shape contemporary imagination.
A New Perspective Led by Female Artists
The sixth edition places female artistic voices at the center of the exhibition, bringing together diverse perspectives from different cultural and geographic backgrounds.
Their practices examine questions of identity, memory, environment, architecture, technology, spirituality, and humanity’s relationship with the natural world.
By presenting these works within the Giza Plateau, Forever Is Now 06 creates a unique meeting point between ancient Egyptian heritage and contemporary global art, demonstrating how cultural history can remain a source of innovation and creative inquiry.
Ancient Knowledge, Contemporary Innovation
Forever Is Now 06 explores the continuing relevance of ancient systems of knowledge through contemporary artistic language.
References to sacred geometry, cosmology, celestial alignment, traditional craftsmanship, architecture, and natural systems are reinterpreted through modern materials, technologies, and artistic approaches.
The resulting installations encourage audiences to experience the Giza Plateau as a living cultural landscape—one where the past is not isolated from the present, but continues to influence how humanity understands space, nature, knowledge, and creativity.
Egypt as a Global Platform for Contemporary Art
Since its launch, Forever Is Now has established a distinctive model for bringing international contemporary art into direct dialogue with Egypt’s archaeological and cultural heritage.
The exhibition has welcomed internationally recognized artists and attracted audiences from around the world, reinforcing the universal appeal of Egypt’s cultural legacy while creating new opportunities for international cultural exchange.
Founded by Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, Art D’Égypte continues to develop exhibitions and cultural initiatives that connect heritage, contemporary art, sustainability, and innovation.
With Forever Is Now 06, the organization once again transforms one of humanity’s most recognizable monuments into a platform for artistic dialogue—demonstrating that the legacy of ancient Egypt can continue to inspire new ideas, new artistic languages, and new global conversations.
