Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, was the only Egyptian female to give a talk at VeeCon22. Throughout the Physical to Digital talk, she discussed her ambition towards digital art and NFTs. She announced the launch of the first of its kind Egyptian project, the Forever is Now NFT collection, and stressed on the importance of having more women in the Web 3 space. Nadine also discussed the power of this next-generation web, in managing to bring together individuals from vast creative fields. The VeeCon conference was attended by Eva Longoria, Huda Kattan, Liam Payne, Amber Vittoria, New York based artist, Pharell Williams, Snoop dog, Mike Winkelmann (aka. Beeple), and many inspirational public figures all of which come from various disciplines yet share similar interests in Web3.
During
Nadine’s talk “Physical to Digital”, amazingly, a couple of “Forever Is Now”
NFTs sold within minutes! She said, “We are overjoyed to have had the opportunity to attend the biggest
conference of the future, and I would love to express my appreciation to
Gary Vee for his passion to make this happen, and thank you to all his team especially
Maha Abouelenein. They successfully created a great new whole experience full
of many interesting activities that brought all of us together in a lovely
way.”

Forever Is Now was the first international art exhibition held at the Pyramids of Giza in 4500 years, the oldest and last remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which took place in October 2021. The exhibition had over 500K visitors, an online reach of over 2 billion views, and featured in more than 800 international and local media outlets.
The
NFT collection was launched on the Foundation platform under artdegypte.
The project featured the works of the inspirational artists that participated
in the “Forever Is Now” exhibition - Gisela Colón, Lorenzo Quinn, Prince Sultan
Bin Fahad, Sherin Guirguis, João Trevisan, Alexander Ponomarev, and Moataz
Nasr. Each artwork represents a reflection of the profound global influence of
ancient Egypt and draws on the ongoing inclusiveness of contemporary cultural
practices.

Abdel Ghaffar is a French-Egyptian curator, art consultant, and cultural
ambassador. In 2016, she established Art D’Égypte, one of the most sought-after
multidisciplinary art consultancies in the region, which has a twofold mission:
to advance the international profile of modern and contemporary Egyptian art,
and to help preserve and promote Egypt’s rich culture and heritage. She
has curated four highly successful exhibitions for Art D'Égypte showcasing the
works of over 60 Egyptian and international artists: Eternal Light at the
Egyptian Museum (2017); Nothing Vanishes, Everything Transforms at the Manial
Palace (2018); Reimagined Narratives on al-Mu'izz Street in Historic Cairo
(2019); and Forever Is Now at the Prramids of Giza (2021). Thanks to her
efforts, Art D’Égypte received the patronage of UNESCO in 2019 for having a
vision that aligns with the 2005 convention on the Protection and Promotion of

female artists, Nadine was recently invited by UN Women to give a talk at
Palais des Nations, Genève about the impact of Egyptian women on art and
