the chairman of Noble Energy, Mr. David Stover .. The meeting touched on ways
to develop the company's activities in Egypt ...
Mr. Stover lauded Egypt's ambitious vision to realize
comprehensive economic development and confirmed that Egypt is among that top
countries in which the company is keen to enhance investment, capitalizing on
the positive investment climate in Egypt. This is in addition to the promising
opportunities that the energy sector enjoys, in light of the great attention
that the state accords to develop this vital sector as well as Egypt's
possession of the necessary requirements to help this trend succeed. This
includes the distinct geographic location, oil and gas explorations, developed
infrastructure to transport gas and liquefaction as well as regional
cooperation projects to link, transport and liquefy gas.
President El
Sisi highlighted Noble Energy's good international reputation as well as its
professional approach and high international standards in implementing their
activities and work. The President underscored the cooperation relations and
strategic partnership between Egypt and the U.S., confirming that he looks
forward to further advance these relations so as to achieve their joint
developmental objectives.
The President
emphasized the need to continue coordination and cooperation with Noble Energy
and to remove any obstacles it might encounter in order to further enhance
efforts toward research, exploration and production of natural gas in Egypt.
