Sahar Nasr Issues a Decision to Form a grievance Committee



Cairo – Eco – Fady Labib : The Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Dr. Sahar Nasr issued a decision to form a grievance committee against GAFI's administrative decisions, in the implementation of the provisions of the Law on joint-stock companies, private limited companies, limited liability companies, and one-person  company  ...

The Minister pointed out that the decision came to facilitate for investors and eliminate any obstacles facing them. The decision provided for that the committee shall be headed by one of the deputy-heads of the State Council, with two members from the State Council who hold the rank of counselors at least, an experienced member and representative from GAFI's supreme administration. The committee shall be entitled appoint whoever deemed experienced from various administrative authorities. The committee shall also be affiliated by a grievance office provided with GAFI's several administrative employees to carry out all the work requested by the committee.

Moreover, the decision provided that the committee shall be held twice a month at GAFI's headquarter or one of its branches to consider grievances submitted to it against the administrative decisions issued by MIIC or GAFI in accordance with the provisions of the law. The head of the committee shall be entitled to invite the committee to meet whenever deemed necessary.

The committee shall issue its reasoned decision by the majority of its members within 60 days of submitting the grievance or from the date of fulfilling required clarifications. The grievance office shall notify the complainant with a registered letter with a certified copy of the committee's decision stating the grounds thereof. The committee's decision shall be final and binding upon GAFI.
